Pepper - McDonald's Thai

These Thai-type (Capsicum annuum) pepper seeds were gifted to us by our friend Garry McDonald in Arkansas. They are moderately hot and make a great chili powder. 

Known for their pungent heat, they are often used in curries, stir-fries, and sauces. The Scoville scale rates them between 50,000 to 100,000 units, placing them in the moderately hot category. Thai peppers are rich in vitamins A and C, antioxidants that support immune health. They're essential in delivering the bold flavors characteristic of Thai cooking.

All of the proceeds from this pepper will be donated to Dr. Garry McDonald's undergraduate teaching program at the University of Arkansas.  

All of the seeds we offer have been grown at the Heritage Cottage Urban Nano Farm.
