I'm really proud of my first book. This is a common sense guide to dynamic landscapes from Mississippi and the southeast to gardens and landscapes across even more northern hardiness zones. 

Most stories in Southern Gardening All Year Long focus on my practical, hands-on approach and experience with gardening. I recount tales from personal gardens—plants that have thrived and failed—and offer advice in a common-sense style. My personal, conversational style of writing makes Southern Gardening All Year Long an old-fashioned, over-the-fence chat with a knowledgeable and always helpful gardening neighbor.
